Dual Operator Certification (DOC)
DOC certifies operators who can bridge AI decision-making and Cloud execution. You’ll run unified workflows, manage escalation boundaries, and produce audit-ready proof that decisions and deployments align.
Track: AI + Cloud
Format: Integrated workflows + capstone
Certification: Instructor-reviewed
Focus: Cross-domain control + escalation discipline
Purpose & Operator Role
The Dual Operator plans with AI discipline and executes with Cloud discipline. You’ll control where AI informs decisions, where humans approve risk, and where cloud changes are applied and verified.
Operator standard: If AI output isn’t bounded and cloud changes aren’t verifiable,
the workflow stops.
Prerequisites
- Required: AWO + (KWO or AWSWO)
- Comfort reading logs, policies, and runbooks
- Willingness to escalate instead of guessing
Core Skills You’ll Build
- Cross-Domain Workflows: AI reasoning feeding cloud execution safely
- Escalation Control: define stop rules and human-in-the-loop points
- Audit-Ready Logging: unified logs across AI prompts and cloud actions
- Risk Segmentation: separate low-risk automation from high-risk approvals
- Handoff Clarity: workflows another operator can inherit cleanly
Syllabus Modules
- Module 01 — Dual Operator Model: boundaries between AI, human, and cloud
- Module 02 — Unified Workflow Design: inputs, gates, and outputs
- Module 03 — Escalation & Stop Rules: when automation halts
- Module 04 — Audit Logging: prompts + permissions + changes
- Module 05 — Risk Scenarios: ambiguous data, partial failures, rollback
- Module 06 — Capstone Planning: define a real workflow
- Module 07 — Capstone Execution: run, verify, document, review
Certification Gate (No Instant Pass)
DOC is awarded only after instructor approval of the capstone workflow and logs.
- No auto-certification.
- Clear AI boundaries and escalation points
- Verified cloud execution + rollback readiness
- Complete audit trail from prompt to deploy
What This Unlocks Next
DOC qualifies operators for leadership tracks, governance roles, and advanced Academy missions.
